  1. Hey Daniel,
I randomly ran into a link for Ron's blog and he had a link for yours. Yay for new art blogs (at least new to me). It's great to see your digital work having only seen your figure sketches until now. I'll be sure to check back.

  2. That's cool, Andrew. Ron has been keeping up regularly on his blog. Despite going on vaction this week, I really need to put in the effort and update my own. I have stuff to post, I just need to do it. Anyhow, thanks for dropping by. Hopefully next time, I will have some new stuff! Take it easy :)

  3. Hi Dan,

A blast from your past here, Elaine. We were at LTI together a million years ago. I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say hi and to tell you how fantastic your work is. I was just showing it to my eldest son Ryan, he's 11 and is really really good at art. We both love these digital pieces, he likes the bottom one the best. I also love the oil painting of the old man. Hope all is well with you, so nice to see your wonderful work! Elaine.

  4. Hi Elaine, awesome to hear from you! Yes, it has been a long time since the glory days of Label Tech. I'm still buds with Ryan, although we both live in different states. Awhile back, he mentioned he contacted you and said you were back in Ireland. I hope life is treating you well there.

So your boy is a blooming artist? Keep encouraging him, who knows, someday he may pursue it professionally. It seems there's always work in the video games, TV and movie industry.

Thanks for the kind word about my artwork. I haven't posted anything new in ages. Just been too busy and a little lazy too. I teach an oil painting class at night, so those portraits are from models who volunteer to sit and pose during class. It's fun.

Well, it's wonderful to hear from you. Stay in touch! Friend me on Facebook, sometime.

    Dan
