Eurydice

Awhile back, a friend loaned me a book on Greek Mythology. There was the story of Eurydice and Orpheus that particularly interested me. I went ahead and created a painting based from it. In this scene depicted, Eurydice hears the sweet music of Orpheus coming to rescue and deliver her from the fires of the underworld.
